New Gaza Animation
Check out this short animated film by Yoni Goodman, the animation director of Waltz with Bashir. It was created for Gisha, an NGO devoted to human freedom of movement.
I'm assuming that hand is meant to represent Israel. If it had some red as well, then it would have been the US. It is interesting that most of the hands that appear throughout the piece don't have any flag associated with them, even though they could have easily been US/Israel/Hamas flags. As for the Egyptian border crossing, I think Egypt wants that border closed and sealed more than anyone, so I don't think putting the Israeli hand there was true to the reality.

At the Rafiah border crossing, an "Egyptian hand" comes down - and then another hand appears above the Egyptian hand (blue & white - Israel?).
What's your take on that?

Seems as if the "Israel" hand infers some type of collusion with Egypt to keep the Rafiah border closed.
